Key Responsibilities

In this position, you will handle the following main responsibilities:

• Lead the merchant acquisition strategy for Point of Sale (POS) and QR Code payment solutions to accelerate portfolio and business growth.

• Supervise, mentor, and guide the ADC business development team in cultivating and maintaining premium relationships with both existing and prospective corporate merchants.

• Drive and monitor the successful onboarding of merchants under Equated Monthly Installment (EMI) and Discount Partner frameworks to achieve monthly and quarterly corporate targets.

• Oversee the complete process of executing POS and QR Code agreements while ensuring 100% compliance with internal bank policies and Bangladesh Bank regulatory requirements.

• Monitor operational aspects of the bank’s widespread ATM booths and coordinate with technical stakeholders to ensure timely maintenance and uninterrupted up-time service.

• Conduct regular market field visits with the business team to map out new commercial merchant opportunities and reinforce MTB’s market share.

• Evaluate individual and team KPIs, track acquisition metrics, and ensure direct fulfillment of assigned volume and revenue targets.

• Prepare, analyze, and present comprehensive periodic updates on merchant acquisitions, service delivery parameters, and strategic business growth for senior management.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline (such as Finance, Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or Management) from a UGC-approved university.
